Day 1 :: Arrival Yangon by morning flight  :: -/-/-

Our Gracious Myanmar Travel's guide will meet you on arrival at Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel. Today's sightseeing tour includes the old colonial-style city centre with the gilded SULE PAGODA, dating back to over 2,000 years. The tour continues to CHAUK HTAT GYI, a huge reclining Buddha image followed by a photo stop made at KARAWEIK HALL, a royal floating barge. An extended visit to SHWEDAGON PAGODA, one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments, will conclude the tour of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of the Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Stay overnight at Hotel in Yangon. 

Day 2 :: Yangon - Bagan by morning flight :: B/-/-

Transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival in Bagan, transfer to hotel and proceed for sightseeing starting with the busy local market and continue to a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples such as SHWEZIGON PAGODA, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, KU BYAUK GYI, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes, KHAY MIN GA TEMPLE, noted for its spectacular panoramic view of the area's many monuments and ANANDA TEMPLE with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches inside the gallery. Lunch is followed by a visit to lacquer craftsmen's workshop in nearby MYINKABA village and sightseeing to MANUHA TEMPLE, built in Mon style in 1059, NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument, said to have been the palace of King Manuha and MYINGABA GU BYAUKGYI TEMPLE, noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Observe sunset in the vicinity of Bagan's ancient monuments. Stay overnight in Bagan.

On request we can change the itinerary in Bagan. As an alternative we offer to reduce some Pagoda and Temple visits and take you to TAUNGBI VILLAGE to an OLD NOODLE COTTAGE and to observe the daily life of the people there.****

Day 3 :: Bagan - Mandalay by morning flight :: B/-/-

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Mandalay, the last royal capital. Upon arrival at the Tada Oo Airport, proceed direct to AMARAPURA, a former capital founded by Bodawpaya. Visit MAHAGANDAYON, a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study. Afterwards continue to the 220 years old U BEIN TEAK BRIDGE, built in 1782 at the time when AMARAPURA was the royal capital. Also you will visit BAGAYA MONASTERY with a superb collection of Buddha statues. Sightseeing continuous to SAGAING, a place for Buddhist devotees. On the way to Mandalay visit MAHAMUNI PAGODA, one of the most sacred Buddha Image in Mandalay. Afterwards check-in at the hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

*The original place of the Mahamuni Image was in Dhanyawaddy in Rakhine State until King Bodaw Phaya brought it to Amarapura in 1785.

Day 4 :: Mandalay :: B/-/-

After breakfast, you will visit some workshops to see the production of the famous Mandalay Arts and crafts, like GOLD LEAFS, CARVINGS and TAPESTRIES. In the afternoon tour will continue MANDALAY PALACE, SHWENANDAW MONESTARY, noted for its exquisite WOOD CARVINGS, KUTHODAW PAGODA, famous for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures also known as the WORLD BIGGEST BOOK. Tour continue to Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for a panoramic view over the city. It's worth to have a stroll up the hill spectacular sunset views. Stay overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

Day 5 :: Mandalay - Yangon by morning flight, evening international departure :: B/-/-

After breakfast, transfer to the Airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer to BOGYOKE (SCOTT) MARKET, a shopping place for souvenir with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products but of special mention are the beautiful exotic "Shan Bag", velvet slippers, wood carvings, lacquer ware, longyis (sarongs) and many more local handicrafts. Late afternoon transfer to the Airport for your international departure flight! Here our GMT Service will end!
